Bitcoin plunges below $11,000 on Coinbase as rout accelerates; now down 40% from record

Bitcoin plunges more than 40% from its all-time high reached Sunday, according to Coinbase. Recently launched bitcoin futures on CME and Cboe tumble more than 15% Friday.
